I get a lot of requests for purple, so I thought I'd get started! Another example of the star accents, this time in shiny silver. The pink top-stitching brings out some of the pink dots in the lining fabric. (Corduroy with cotton lining. Lining has dots of white, light and dark pink, light and dark purple.) Don't worry girls! There will be more purple to come!

ReplyDeleteAlso, if you have extra fabric, you should do a matching wallet - or a contrasting wallet with matching accents! AND for today's vote, I only carry a big purse b/c I have to. I prefer small purses. I'd really like a wallet big enough to hold my check book, cash and coins and cards... Do you do zippers?? :D

ReplyDeleteI'm getting to zippers...they're expensive and harder to do, but once I get going I'm sure it'll get easier. I'll keep that wallet in mind! As cute as the ones I made from that online tutorial are, they're just not big enough for what most of us carry.
As for a matching wallet, I only have a little over a square inch of the corduroy left! I should look for some remnants of it. I love using those little stars...gotta go get some more!
