Clarification on Unfilled Orders

A note to those of you who have pending orders:

Thank you for your order(s) and your patience! Blue Day Bags is still undergoing some work to get up and running like normal. For those of you who ordered bags before the temporary closing in May, I will be contacting you when I am able to work on your order to make sure that you are still interested and to discuss any changes or improvements.

During this transitional stage you will see some new creations that may inspire you to change your original order, or you may see something that you like even more.

I just wanted to take a minute to thank you all for your business and your patience as I fill your orders! My life got quite a bit more crazy around Easter, after which my 8 month son got sick for over a week. It's pretty hard to sew with a baby crying and clinging to your leg! (He's really interested in the foot pedal of my sewing machine!) Apart from all that at home, I've been finishing up some volunteer projects that are just ending this week. It seems like my deadlines all bunch up together!

So thank you for your patience! I haven't delivered anything late if a deadline was specified and I don't plan to! I should be caught up with orders in the next couple weeks.

"Picnic Purse"

This fabric reminds me of a spring or summer picnic. The blue and yellow checked pattern has pretty eyelets in it. A yellow ribbon tie adds to the spunky spring feel. Thank you Annalise for the great fabric! Perfect and lightweight for a nice day.

I get a lot of requests for purple, so I thought I'd get started! Another example of the star accents, this time in shiny silver. The pink top-stitching brings out some of the pink dots in the lining fabric. (Corduroy with cotton lining. Lining has dots of white, light and dark pink, light and dark purple.) Don't worry girls! There will be more purple to come!

"Marielle" is a messenger bag with dark brown corduroy and a bright blue cotton print lining.

The flap closes with two magnetic snaps.

Side pockets are accented with the blue lining.
